Is Paid2tap a Scam or Legit? (Full Review)

Is Paid2tap a Scam or Legit

Who doesn’t want to make money in the comforts of your home, or even mobile device, without putting a lot of effort? In fact, this is one of the reasons many like to answer surveys.

Survey websites are usually free to join, don’t require any skills, and can be done in your spare time.

The problem with surveys is not all are trustworthy. One of the suspicious websites out there is Paid2Tap.

Here’s why we think it is likely a scam.

1. We Cannot Find the Website or the App

One of our biggest red flags is the fact that we cannot confirm the actual website or the app. A quick search on Google will reveal a long list of reviews about the platform, but there’s no actual mention of the link.

You can find a supposed Facebook page for the survey website with a URL. However, when you click it, it will lead to an error page. None of the possible URLs for the website seem to work.

Not being able to find the website or the app easily is a problem for a lot of reasons. First, we cannot verify any information that pertains to the survey site. Second, it could mean that the website doesn’t have excellent domain authority. It could be because the site is still young or it is not well-maintained.

2. Many Have Complained About Not Getting Paid

The Internet is full of complaints about the platform, with many saying they never got paid after completing a task. While it is not impossible for some people to get paid, the number of complaints is quite high.

It’s possible that the website doesn’t have enough advertisers to sustain itself, or something else might be going on behind the scenes.

3. The Earning Potential Is Too Good to Be True

Paid2Tap claims you can earn up to $500 per day by doing simple tasks, such as answering surveys, watching videos, trying new apps, and referring friends.

This is an incredibly high amount, considering that most survey sites only allow you to earn a few dollars per day. It hands out $50 just by signing up when most legitimate competitors do not give any except that you can register for free.

One of the highest we’ve seen is only $50 a day, and this one is even more difficult to obtain. You would have to answer many surveys or find a survey or a task that pays a lot, and this type doesn’t come often.

To give this amount to users, Paid2Tap needs to have partnerships with high-paying research firms or brands.

4. The Information about the Company Is Inconsistent

One review says that the website was launched sometime in 2015, but other data seem to suggest that it began operating only in 2021.

The same is true for other information pertaining to the website, such as its board of directors and key employees. Another review suggests that these photos didn’t match the names or the descriptions of people. Some are even stock photos edited to show the name of the website.

5. The Website Has Received Poor Ratings from Scam Analyzers

Paid2Tap doesn’t seem to have a good reputation among scam busters and analyzers, such as scam-detector.com. The website gives it a score of 0.4/10 and a warning that this is likely to be a phishing site.

A phishing site is a fake website that’s created to trick people into sharing personal information, such as their credit card number or login credentials. If you input your username and password, as well as your financial details, the people behind the site can use this to steal your money.

6. The Supposed Reviews Are Just as Questionable

On the other side of the coin, Paid2Tap has a growing number of glowing reviews. In fact, it has obtained a high score of 4.6 out of 5 in TrustPilot.

However, if you look deeper, you will see that many of these positive reviews are questionable.

On the TrustPilot website, the latest reviews claim that the website is a scam, particularly for users who do not receive their payouts. Others also say that they can’t talk to the platform’s customer support.

On Facebook, Paid2Tap scores 3.4 out of 5 in the review section. But the majority of those who said that they earned money – and lots of it – from the website seemed to be fake accounts. When you click on their profiles, their photos are likely to be stolen from other people’s profiles or are stock images. They are also incredibly young accounts.

Final Words

Based on what we’ve seen, Paid2Tap is likely a scam. It’s not impossible to make money from the platform, but the complaints and the red flags are too many for us to recommend it. There are other ways to make money online, and we suggest that you explore those instead.
