The San Juan County Sheriff’s office responded to the following calls.

Sept. 28

• A deputy on Orcas responded to a fraud callback near Eastsound. The reporting party had no loss, and all information shared with the Sheriff’s Office will be followed up on.

• A San Juan deputy responded to a report of a sex offense at a business. After an investigation, it was found that no crime was committed and an employee was trespassed from the business.

• A San Juan deputy responded to a report of property damage. The damage was found to be accidental and no crime was committed.

• A deputy responded to a report of a debit card found at the Port of Friday Harbor. The owner was unable to be located and the debit card was entered into the property room per policy.

• A Lopez deputy responded to a report of stolen mail.

• A deputy on San Juan responded to a found credit card at the Friday Harbor Drug store. The owner’s contact information was unable to be located and the card was submitted into evidence as found property.

• A deputy on Orcas arrested a person with an outstanding warrant.

• Lopez deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance. One of the involved parties was arrested for malicious mischief and booked into the San Juan County Jail.
