Scammers are selling illegal fire department T-shirts

Fire officials in Ossining are warning about some unauthorized use of the department’s name and logo.

In a Facebook post, the department says they have “noticed multiple posts and comments made to this page and online, regarding the sale of T-shirts and apparel with our name, logos, apparatus etc. These items are not in any way authorized by the Ossining Fire Department or the individual companies.”

They say the posts appear to be scams, and do not benefit the department, or companies in any way.

The Ossining fire department says they currently do not have any apparel for sale.
