Mercy Flight warns of solicitor
BATAVIA — Mercy Flight has issued a scam alert in the city.
A person has been going door-to-door soliciting monetary donations on behalf of our organization, Mercy Flight officials said in a Facebook post.
“Mercy Flight does not solicit donations door-to-door,” they said. “Anyone who receives this type of solicitation from anyone claiming to represent Mercy Flight should notify the City of Batavia Police Department at (585) 345-6350.”
