Beware of phishing email directing the public to click on a fraudulent link
Some Hillsborough County vendors are the target of a phishing email that fraudulently states that it comes from County Administrator Bonnie Wise asking for a username and password to preview a document file.

Individuals who receive a similar email that appears to come from Hillsborough County should immediately delete it and not click on any embedded link.
Anyone who may have acted on a suspected fraudulent email is asked to immediately change their account password.
If you receive electronic documents to review or any other suspicious communication regarding Hillsborough County requests, please contact the individual or department sending the email for verification before clicking on any links. Do not reply to the message.
