People scamming folks is one thing, but scamming folks during the holidays? Completely unacceptable.
Several times I have had a solar panel door-to-door salesman come to my door and I am interested and doing that. I haven’t pulled the trigger on it yet, but I think it would be a good way to save some money.
But I live in Benton County, and this is apparently happening right now in Franklin County. There are reports of scammers going door-to-door claiming to be solar installers with Franklin PUD. And rather than just giving you the information and letting you make a decision later, they try to pressure you into making a decision on the spot.
