Edmund Kavanaugh, 53, of Elmhurst, Ill. pleaded guilty to charges of home repair fraud and theft in DuPage County Circuit Court and was sentenced to seven years in prison, according to a news release. Kavanaugh’s sentence will run consecutively to a three-year prison sentence resulting from a similar conviction prosecuted by the Attorney General’s office in 2021.
