Deadline for FSA spending is in days
The deadline to spend any money from your flexible spending accounts (FSA) is December 31.
Since the money from your account likely cannot be rolled over into the next year, if you don’t spend it, you’ll lose it.
The funds are most commonly used for things like medical treatments, doctor and emergency room visits, insurance deductibles, copayments, and prescription medicine.
However, you may use the money on a variety of things including cold medicines, anti-inflammatories, and allergy medicine.
