New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on Thursday that the investigation ordered by the Uttar Pradesh government into the Ayodhya land “scam” was an eyewash and called for the intervention of the Supreme Court.
She told a press conference here that the Supreme Court should take suo motu cognizance of the matter and intervene because the Ram temple in Ayodhya is being constructed in accordance with its order.
“Bhagwan Ram is a symbol of honesty and the BJP-backed leaders and officers have profited from the trust meant for the temple construction,” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said.
