Two dead, trees uprooted, buildings damaged as heavy rains, winds batter Delhi
Two persons were killed and several injured as heavy rains accompanied by strong winds battered the national capital on Monday evening, uprooting hundreds of trees, disrupting road and air traffic and damaging vehicles and buildings, including the iconic Jama Masjid. Waterlogging and power outages were also reported in some areas. Police and fire brigade personnel responded to scores of rescue calls as trees fell on vehicles and passersby and incidents of wall collapse occurred, while civic bodies were busy clearing roads.

The transfer order comes days after NCB dropped charges against Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan for want of evidence. The agency had recommended action against the officer.
Implementation of Jet Airways resolution plan subject to outcome of order, says NCLAT
Insolvency appellate tribunal NCLAT on Monday said the implementation of Jalan-Kalrock consortium resolution plan for Jet Airways would be subject to the outcome of its order over the appeals filed before it. While hearing a batch of petitions against the NCLT order approving Jet Airways’ resolution plan, a two-member bench of National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) said they would have to abide by the results of the appeals filed before it.
